Information And Eligibility: SteelSeries professional gaming gear has teamed up with Twitch TV and Alienware to offer the $10,000 Twitch TV and Alienware Scholarship Program, in an effort to encourage gamers to not only pursue the highest scores, but also to pursue a higher education. Five $10,000 college scholarships will be awarded to students who display the best combination of the required video gaming accomplishments as set forth by the Twitch TV and Alienware Scholarship committee. To apply, students must meet the following requirements: Have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 grading scale, provide proof of registration in an accredited post-secondary institution, display a high level of achievement in their video game of choice (including, but is not limited to: high game rankings, top tournament placements, regular game streaming on Twitch.TV, and /or regular involvement with games or gaming groups). Applicants will be required to complete the online application in full, including a brief essay portion explaining why you feel you deserve a scholarship, and must submit all materials before the entry deadline.
