Information And Eligibility: The Walmart Foundation has been helping to help offset rising college tuition costs by awarding more than $9 million in college scholarships. Walmart offers 3 different scholarships each year: The Sam Walton Community Scholarship, The Walmart Dependent Scholarship, and The Walton Family Foundation Scholarship. The Walmart Foundation Sam Walton Community Scholarship for 2014 provides $3,000 to graduating seniors with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and a demonstrated financial need. The 2014 Walmart Dependent Scholarship provides $3,000 to Walmart and Sam’s Club dependents of associates who are graduating seniors with at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA and a demonstrated financial need. The Walmart Walton Family Foundation Scholarship provides a $13,000 scholarship paid out over four years. Applicants must be dependents of Walmart and Sam’s Club associates.
