100 Club of Arizona Scholarship

Name: 100 Club of Arizona Scholarship

Award Amount: Up to $5,000 per academic year

Information And Eligibility:
The 100 Club of Arizona Scholarship is a public service–focused education award created to support students preparing for careers in public safety across the state of Arizona. The scholarship is sponsored by the 100 Club of Arizona, an organization dedicated to supporting law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel, as well as the families and communities they serve. Through this scholarship program, the organization invests in the next generation of public safety professionals by helping reduce the financial barriers associated with education and training.

The scholarship is intended for students pursuing education aligned with careers in law enforcement, fire service, or emergency medical services. Eligible programs may include criminal justice, fire science, emergency medical technology, paramedic training, or other closely related public safety disciplines offered at accredited postsecondary institutions. Scholarship funds may be used to cover tuition, books, fees, and other education-related expenses required for program completion.

Selection for the 100 Club of Arizona Scholarship emphasizes both academic readiness and a demonstrated commitment to community service. Applicants are expected to show a clear intent to work in public safety within Arizona and to uphold the values of service, responsibility, and public trust. While the scholarship supports academic progress, it also recognizes the importance of character, leadership, and dedication to protecting and serving local communities.

Recipients must remain in good academic standing to retain the award. Because funding availability and award amounts may vary by year, students are encouraged to submit complete and thoughtful applications that clearly outline their career goals and commitment to public safety. The scholarship represents both financial support and professional recognition for students preparing to enter essential frontline roles.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a legal resident of the state of Arizona.
  • Must be enrolled in or applying to an accredited postsecondary institution.
  • Must be pursuing education leading to a career in law enforcement, fire service, or emergency medical services.
  • Must demonstrate a commitment to community service and the public safety profession.
  • Must maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5.

Application Requirements:

  • Completed scholarship application submitted through the Arizona Community Foundation scholarship portal.
  • Official academic transcripts.
  • Two letters of recommendation, including one academic reference and one from a public safety or related professional.
  • Personal statement describing career goals, interest in public safety, and commitment to serving Arizona communities.
