Information and Eligibility:

The Anders Scholarship is designed to honor Allied Health, Nursing, and Therapy professionals by supporting students who appreciate and understand the medical field. Applicants must:

  • Enrollment Status: Be enrolled in a college, medical school, or trade program in the United States, or be a GED holder planning to attend such an institution in the upcoming semester.
  • Academic Standing: Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
  • Essay Submission: Submit an essay (500-1,000 words) discussing:
    • The role of Allied Health, Nursing, and Therapy professionals in today’s world and their impact on public safety and daily life.
    • A personal story of how an Allied Health, Nursing, or Therapy professional has influenced your life.
    • Suggestions for actions to improve the challenging work conditions of these professionals.

Deadline: Applications are due by July 31. Only one scholarship is awarded each year.
