Name: The AT&T Internet and Education Scholarship

Information and Eligibility:
The AT&T Internet and Education Scholarship challenges students to create an original, factual infographic demonstrating how students use social media both inside and outside the classroom. The contest is held twice annually, giving applicants two opportunities each year to compete for a $1,000 scholarship award.

The scholarship is open to both high school seniors and currently enrolled college students. High school seniors must have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA, have completed the ACT or SAT, and plan to attend an accredited college or university in the upcoming Spring semester. Current college students—including freshmen through graduate-level students—must be enrolled full-time at an accredited institution and maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.

Winners are selected by a panel of judges based on creativity, insight, and thoughtfulness, as well as the effectiveness with which they promote their infographic post. Awards may be applied toward qualified higher-education expenses, including undergraduate or graduate tuition, books, fees, and on-campus housing.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident.
• High school seniors must:
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Have completed either the ACT or SAT.
  • Plan to attend an accredited college or university in the upcoming Spring semester.
• College students (freshman through graduate level) must:
  • Be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Application Requirements:

• Create an original infographic showing how students use social media in and out of the classroom.
• Submit the infographic through the official scholarship portal.
• Promote the infographic as instructed—engagement and reach factor into judging.
