Information And Eligibility:
The Lime Connect Equity Through Education Scholarship, sponsored by BMO Capital Markets, aims to support students with disabilities who demonstrate academic excellence and leadership potential while pursuing a degree in business-related disciplines. This scholarship promotes diversity and inclusion within the business sector by empowering students with disabilities to achieve their academic and professional aspirations.

In addition to the financial award, recipients are invited to join The Lime Network, gaining access to resources, events, and opportunities to connect with top employers committed to inclusivity.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must identify as having a visible or invisible disability, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) or the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.
  • Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited university in the U.S. or Canada.
  • Studying in a business-related field, including (but not limited to) commerce, economics, finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • Strong academic performance, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated leadership and commitment to community engagement or extracurricular activities.

Application Timeline:

  • February 15: Application deadline.
  • March: Finalists are notified and may be asked for additional documentation.
  • April: Scholarship recipients are announced.
