Caesars Nevada Team Member Scholarship

Name: Caesars Nevada Team Member Scholarship

Award Amount: Varies

Information And Eligibility:
The Caesars Nevada Team Member Scholarship is a targeted college support award administered through the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada in partnership with Caesars Entertainment and donors who match the scholarship funding. The program is designed to provide financial assistance to dependents of Caesars Entertainment team members who are planning to pursue post-secondary education and may face financial barriers to entry. The award recognizes students from Nevada and neighboring communities who demonstrate academic potential, engagement, and the motivation to succeed in higher education.

This scholarship honors the commitment of families connected to Caesars properties across Nevada, including casinos and resorts where team members contribute to the local economy and community. It is part of a broader set of education-related initiatives supported by Caesars and its partners that aim to create opportunities for students who have grown up in households where a parent or guardian’s long-term service is a central part of family life.

Applicants for the Caesars Nevada Team Member Scholarship are evaluated on a combination of academic achievement, personal narrative, extracurricular involvement, and financial need. Because the scholarship seeks to support students with both promise and real economic considerations, the essay component allows applicants to communicate their motivations, goals, and how the award would help them pursue specific academic and career plans. Participation in paid work, internships, volunteer service, or community activities is also considered by the selection committee and can strengthen an application.

The scholarship is not limited to a particular field of study, allowing students with a range of educational interests to apply. Recipients may use the scholarship funds to help offset costs such as tuition, mandatory fees, books, academic supplies, or other expenses associated with their chosen degree programs. While the award amount varies based on available funding and the applicant pool, this scholarship provides meaningful support toward reducing the financial burden of college for students connected to Caesars Entertainment’s Nevada workforce.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a graduating high school senior at a Nevada high school or a high school that borders Nevada.
  • Must be the dependent (child) of a full-time Caesars Entertainment employee at any Caesars property in Nevada.
  • Parent or guardian employee must have at least three consecutive years of full-time service.
  • Parent or guardian must be hourly, non-management salaried, or management grade L14 and below.
  • Must demonstrate financial need for tuition assistance.
  • Must have a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 and maintain satisfactory academic progress.

Application Requirements:

  • Completed online scholarship application.
  • Unofficial or official academic transcripts.
  • One-page personal essay describing interests, goals, and motivations for college.
