Information And Eligibility: CaptainU, a college sports recruiting platform that helps top student athletes connect with thousands of college coaches is offering a $2000 college scholarship opportunity to qualified student athletes. To qualify for the scholarship students must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, currently attending a high school (in their freshmen, sophomore, junior, or senior year) or a junior, community, or technical college. Applicants must be current student athletes at the school which they attend, and must be planning to enroll in an accredited four year college or university. Eligible applicants will be asked to complete a free CaptainU Profile, and follow any additional directions or requirements listed on the CaptainU website. Each quarter one student will be selected based on the following criteria: completeness of CaptainU profile, recruiting activity on CaptainU, and promotion of CaptainU. The scholarship winner will be announced on the CaptainU Facebook fan page. Applicants are allowed to submit only one scholarship entry per person.
