Information And Eligibility: The Carson Scholars Fund Scholarships are $1,000 college scholarships, that are available and awarded to 4th grade through 11th grade students in the United States. Applicants must display a dedication to serving their communities, and must demonstrate strong academic achievement. All interested student applicants for this scholarship opportunity must first be nominated by the principal at his or her school in order to become eligible to compete for a Carson Scholarship. Students interested in applying should contact their schools administration staff for information and help. Only one student from each eligible school is able to apply. All applicants must have a grade point average of 3.75 or higher, on a 4.0 grading scale and display humanitarian qualities through their community service efforts. These scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement and humanitarian qualities only, there are no financial need eligibility requirements. Previous winners of Carson Scholarships are eligible to reapply annually for another scholarship.
