Information And Eligibility:
The Children of Veterans Tuition Grant (CVTG) provides financial support for the natural or adopted children of Michigan veterans who have experienced permanent disability, have passed away, or are classified as missing in action (MIA) due to their service. This grant aims to alleviate financial barriers and honor the sacrifices made by Michigan’s military families.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Be a Michigan resident for at least 12 months prior to application.
• Be the natural or adopted child of a qualifying Michigan veteran.
• Enrolled at least half-time in a Michigan degree-granting college or university.
• Maintain satisfactory academic progress as defined by the institution.

Application Requirements:

• Complete the CVTG application through the Michigan Office of Student Aid.
• Provide documentation verifying your relationship to the veteran and their qualifying status (e.g., DD-214 form).
• Submit proof of enrollment and academic standing at a qualifying institution.
