  • Waiver of the CMA program entrance fee (valued at $250).
  • Exam registration fees for both CMA exam parts, reduced to $0 (valued at $460 per part).

Information and Eligibility:
The CMA Scholarship is designed to assist high-achieving students who are pursuing accounting or finance degrees in earning the prestigious Certified Management Accountant (CMA®) certification. This scholarship provides an opportunity for future finance professionals to demonstrate their expertise and commitment to advancing in the management accounting profession.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nomination by Faculty: Students must be nominated by a faculty member who is an active IMA member.
  • Enrollment: Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate accounting, finance, or related business program at an accredited college or university.
  • Academic Excellence: Candidates should demonstrate high academic achievement and a strong potential for a successful career in management accounting.
  • Membership: Nominees must be active IMA student members before receiving the scholarship.

Application Requirements:

  • Faculty members can nominate up to 10 students per academic year.
  • Nominations must include the student’s full name, email address, and academic details.
  • No separate application is required from the student; faculty members submit nominations directly to IMA.

Application Timeline:

  • Nomination Period: Open throughout the academic year.
  • Scholarship Activation: Recipients must activate their scholarship within 6 months of being awarded.
  • Exam Completion: Scholarship recipients must complete both parts of the CMA exam within three years of activating their scholarship.

Additional Information:

  • Recipients have access to IMA resources, including exam support materials and networking opportunities with industry professionals.
  • The scholarship is non-transferable and can only be used by the recipient for the CMA certification process.
