Coca-Cola Scholarship For College

Name: The Coca-Cola Scholarship For College

Award Amount:

  • $10,000 for Regional Scholars
  • $20,000 for National Scholars

Information and Eligibility:
The Coca-Cola Scholarship For College is one of the nation’s premier merit-based scholarship programs, awarding 250 scholarships each year to outstanding high school seniors who demonstrate leadership, service, and academic excellence. Award amounts are divided into two tiers: 200 Regional Scholars receive $10,000, and 50 National Scholars receive $20,000.

Open to high school seniors in the United States, this achievement-based scholarship seeks students who have made a significant positive impact on their schools and communities. Applicants must hold a cumulative GPA of at least 3.00 at the end of their junior year and must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents, refugees, asylees, Cuban-Haitian entrants, or humanitarian parolees. Eligible students must also plan to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution.

The selection process is highly competitive and multi-phased. From the initial applicant pool, approximately 2,200 students are chosen as Semifinalists in mid-November. These students must complete a detailed secondary application that includes essays, two letters of recommendation, and official transcripts. From this group, 250 students advance as Finalists.

Finalists are invited to participate in personal interviews conducted by a National Selection Committee composed of distinguished leaders in business, education, government, and the arts. After the interviews, 50 students are named National Scholars, earning the top award of $20,000, while the remaining 200 students become Regional Scholars, each receiving $10,000.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a current high school senior in the United States
  • Must have a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA at the end of junior year
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or meet approved citizenship/immigration criteria
  • Must plan to attend an accredited U.S. college or university

Application Requirements:

  • Online application submitted by the deadline
  • Secondary application for Semifinalists, including essays and transcript
  • Two letters of recommendation (Semifinalist stage)
  • Participation in interviews for selected Finalists
