The Daniels Scholarship Program, created by cable television pioneer Bill Daniels, provides deserving high school seniors from Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming with the opportunity to pursue their college dreams. This comprehensive scholarship not only covers tuition, fees, and room and board at partner schools, but also provides up to $25,000 per year for students attending non-partner schools.

In addition to financial support, Daniels Scholars receive a laptop computer, and access to career development, leadership training, and mentorship opportunities that help prepare them for long-term success. The program emphasizes character, leadership, service, and the potential to make a meaningful contribution to society.

Eligibility criteria include:

  • Residency: Must be a current high school senior from Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming.
  • Academic Performance: Must demonstrate academic achievement and college readiness.
  • Financial Eligibility: Must meet financial need requirements as defined by the program.
  • Character and Leadership: Must demonstrate strong character, leadership qualities, and commitment to community service.
  • Enrollment: Must plan to attend an accredited nonprofit college or university.

Deadline: Applications typically open in September and close in mid-October each year.
