Information and Eligibility:

The Deloitte Foundation Accounting Scholars Program collaborates with designated universities to offer full scholarships to students pursuing a master’s degree in accounting, taxation, or related fields. The program aims to support students interested in careers in public accounting and obtaining their CPA. Participating universities select scholarship recipients based on academic excellence, commitment to the accounting profession, and alignment with program criteria.

Eligibility criteria include:

  • Enrollment Status: Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate accounting program at a participating university in the United States.
  • Academic Achievement: A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required; some universities may have higher GPA requirements.
  • Career Intent: Applicants should intend to pursue a career in public accounting and obtain their CPA, but not currently hold a CPA.
  • Residency: Applicants must have the ability to reside in the United States and plan to pursue career opportunities in the U.S. after graduation.
  • Program Admission: Applicants must meet the admission standards of the participating university’s master’s program in accounting or related field.

Application Process:

Interested students should apply for admission to the master’s program at one of the participating universities and separately apply for the Deloitte Foundation scholarship at that university. Each university has its own application process and deadline.
