The Discover Card Tribute Award Scholarship is designed to support high-school juniors and seniors who have shown strength, leadership and perseverance in their academic and personal lives. Discover has a long history of supporting students—since 1991, the company has awarded over $16 million in scholarships to nearly 6,500 students through its national scholarship initiatives.
The Tribute Award Scholarship provides $2,500 to students who plan to pursue any form of post-secondary education or training. This includes two- or four-year colleges, technical schools, career certification programs and vocational training institutions. The scholarship aims to recognize students who have overcome obstacles, made a positive impact in their communities and demonstrated leadership qualities.
