Discover Card has been annually awarding college scholarships to high school juniors nationwide to support continued education and training beyond high school. Since 1991, Discover has awarded more than $16 million in scholarships to nearly 6,500 students through their The Discover Scholarship Program, which awards college scholarships up to $250,000.
The Discover Card Tribute Award Scholarship is a $2,500 college scholarship available to high school juniors and seniors pursuing post-secondary education or training at an accredited institution. Applicants to The Discover Card Tribute Award Scholarship must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 and must demonstrate accomplishments in community service, display leadership, and have faced a significant roadblock or challenge. The Discover Card Tribute Award Scholarship may be used for any type of post-high school education or training, certification, licensing, two or four-year trade and technical education, or a two or four-year college degree.
