DiversityNursing.com Education Award

Name: DiversityNursing.com Education Award

Award Amount: $5,000

Information And Eligibility:
The DiversityNursing.com Education Award is designed to support nurses and nursing students who are actively contributing to the healthcare workforce or preparing to do so through formal nursing education. Offered annually, this award reflects DiversityNursing.com’s ongoing commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and professional growth within the nursing profession.

Unlike many traditional scholarships, this education award does not require an essay, making it especially accessible to busy nursing students and working professionals. Instead, eligibility is based on enrollment or employment status within the nursing field and completion of a straightforward registration process. The award is intended to help offset education-related expenses or support continued professional development for nurses at various stages of their careers.

The program recognizes that nurses and nursing students often balance demanding academic, clinical, and personal responsibilities. By removing barriers such as lengthy essays, the Education Award provides an inclusive opportunity for a broad range of applicants, including students, bedside nurses, advanced practice nurses, and nursing leaders.

  • Designed for nursing students and working nursing professionals
  • No essay or academic paper required
  • Supports both education and professional advancement
  • Open to first-time and returning participants

Eligible applicants include individuals enrolled part-time or full-time in an accredited school of nursing within a professional registered nurse program. The award is also open to licensed nursing professionals currently employed in the United States, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Nurse Practitioners, and Nurse Leaders or Administrators.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and must complete all required registration steps by the posted deadline. Participation in previous DiversityNursing.com education award drawings does not affect eligibility, allowing both new and returning applicants to apply equally.

  • Open to students enrolled in accredited nursing programs
  • Open to licensed nursing professionals currently employed in the U.S.
  • Available to both part-time and full-time students or employees
  • Previous participation does not limit eligibility

To enter, applicants must create a DiversityNursing.com Jobseeker Account, a one-time process for new users. Those with an existing account may proceed directly to completing the Education Award Registration Form. While not all fields in the registration form are mandatory, applicants are encouraged to complete the form fully. All submitted information is kept confidential and is not shared with third parties.

The DiversityNursing.com Education Award is well suited for nursing students and professionals seeking financial support without the burden of a traditional scholarship application. It reflects a broader mission to empower nurses, promote workforce diversity, and support lifelong learning across the nursing profession.
