Information And Eligibility: Nestle Waters and DoSomething.org have teamed up in an effort to double the recycling rates by the year 2018. They are asking students to join them in helping to make a difference, and they are giving away a $500 college scholarship to ten lucky “Don’t Be Trashy” program participants. Scholarship applicants are asked to visit the DoSomething website, browse their recycling facts, and then share them with friends for a chance to win prizes (including a $500 Don’t Be Trashy Scholarship).

To enter for a chance to win a Don’t Be Trashy Scholarship for college, applicants must choose one or more recycling facts to post to their Facebook profile to help educate their friends on recycling, and encourage them to follow in their footsteps. Applicants are then asked to complete one of the recycling project ideas listed on the DoSomething website. Applicants must then submit the stats they shared and the project they completed for a chance to win.
