Information And Eligibility: The Dr. Julianne Malveaux Scholarship opportunity is offered to all african american female students in their junior or sophomore year of college, who are majoring in journalism, economics, or other related career field. All Dr. Julianne Malveaux Scholarship applicants must be legal residents of the United States of America, and must be enrolled in or attending an accredited college or university in the United States of America at the time of their scholarship application. All applicants of the Dr. Julianne Malveaux Scholarship are required to have a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale to be considered for the award. In addition to completing the online scholarship application, scholarship applicants will be asked to submit a 1000 word essay on what their future career plans are, and how they are relevant to Dr. Julianne Malveaux’s program theme of “Black Women’s Hands Can Rock the World”.
