Executive Women International Scholarship

Name: The Executive Women International Scholarship Program (EWISP)

Award Amount: $1,000 – $5,000

Information And Eligibility:
The Executive Women International Scholarship Program (EWISP) is a prestigious annual scholarship competition designed specifically for high school juniors who demonstrate exceptional leadership, academic achievement, and community involvement. Each year, the program awards more than $200,000 in scholarships nationwide, and it has been recognized by *Money Magazine* as one of the top 12 scholarships in the United States.

EWISP is administered through local Executive Women International (EWI) chapters, and applicants must be nominated or sponsored through a participating local chapter. High school juniors should contact their school counselor or academic advisor to determine if their school is affiliated with a local EWI chapter and to learn how to participate in the nomination process.

Students who enter the competition can qualify for both chapter-level scholarships (amounts vary by chapter) and national awards ranging from $1,000 to $5,000. Selection is based on scholastic excellence, leadership potential, good citizenship, and participation in extracurricular and community service activities. Finalists typically complete an application, submit letters of recommendation, and may participate in interviews or essay components depending on the chapter.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a high school junior.
  • Must be affiliated with or sponsored by a local EWISP chapter.
  • Must demonstrate strong academic achievement.
  • Must show leadership qualities, good citizenship, and involvement in extracurricular activities.

Application Requirements:

  • Contact school counselor or academic advisor for chapter participation instructions.
  • Complete local EWI chapter application form.
  • Provide academic records and letters of recommendation.
  • Additional requirements (essays or interviews) may vary by chapter.

Deadline: Varies by EWI chapter
