Information And Eligibility:
The Federal Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant is for students planning to pursue teaching careers in high-need fields. Recipients must agree to teach in a low-income school for at least four years after graduation.
Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens enrolled in an accredited TEACH Grant-eligible program. Students must maintain a 3.25 GPA or score above the 75th percentile on a college admissions test. Applicants are also required to complete TEACH Grant counseling and sign a service agreement.
To apply, students must fill out the FAFSA, enroll in a TEACH Grant-eligible program, and meet academic and service requirements.
