The Scholarships for Children and Spouses of Deceased or Disabled Veterans (CSDDV) program provides educational opportunities for eligible dependents of Florida veterans. The program aims to support those whose family members have served and sacrificed for the nation.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Residency: Must be a Florida resident.
  • Relation to Veteran: Must be the dependent child or unremarried spouse of a veteran who:
    • Died as a result of service-connected injuries, diseases, or disabilities.
    • Is rated as 100% permanently and totally disabled due to service-connected reasons.
    • Is classified as missing in action or a prisoner of war.
  • Educational Plans: Must enroll in a degree or certificate program at an eligible Florida institution.
  • Age: Dependent children must be between the ages of 16 and 23.

Selection Criteria:

  • Eligibility based on the veteran’s status and the dependent’s educational plans.
  • Academic achievements and performance.

  • Complete and submit the Florida Financial Aid Application (FFAA).
