A great scholarship opportunity for students in need of some money for college is The Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship Program. The Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship Program is founded in the belief that money is often the only obstacle in the way for some deserving students being able to receive a college education. Through The Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship Program, they hope to provide some financial assistance to those students in need. The Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship is a merit-based college scholarship program, which means financial need is not considered. All current college students and high school seniors are welcome to apply. The selection of the scholarship winner is made by an independent panel of judges and is based primarily on the quality of the submitted personal statement of the applicant.
