Award Amount:

• Georgia Residents: $2,000 renewable annual stipend (in addition to the Zell Miller or HOPE Scholarship).

Information and Eligibility:

The Georgia Incentive Scholarship is designed to recognize academically superior students from select non-feeder Georgia public high schools. This scholarship supports high-performing students from underserved areas to pursue higher education at UGA.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Residency: Must be a Georgia resident.
• High School: Must graduate from a designated non-feeder Georgia public high school.
• Academic Achievement: Must demonstrate exceptional academic performance, including a strong GPA and standardized test scores.
• Enrollment: Must be admitted to the University of Georgia as a first-year student.

Selection Criteria:

• High academic performance, including rigor of high school coursework.
• Graduation from a designated non-feeder high school in Georgia.
• Demonstrated potential to succeed at UGA.

Application Requirements:

• Submit the First-Year application to the University of Georgia.
• Applicants are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their application for admission.

Application Timeline:

• Application Opens: August
• Application Deadline: January (Admissions deadline)

Additional Information:

• The scholarship is renewable for up to four years, provided recipients maintain full-time enrollment and a 3.0 UGA GPA.
• No additional application is required for this scholarship.
