Award Amount:

• Georgia Residents: $3,000 renewable annual scholarship.
• Non-Residents: $3,000 renewable annual scholarship plus a Presidential Waiver for non-resident fees.

The Presidential Leadership Scholarship recognizes first-year students with outstanding academic achievements and leadership qualities. The scholarship is awarded to students who exemplify leadership potential and academic excellence.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Residency: Open to both Georgia residents and non-residents.
• Academic Achievement: Must demonstrate high academic performance and leadership skills.
• Enrollment: Must be admitted to the University of Georgia as a first-year student.

Selection Criteria:

• Exceptional academic performance, including GPA and test scores.
• Leadership in extracurricular and co-curricular activities.
• Commitment to contributing to the UGA community.

Application Requirements:

• Submit the First-Year application to the University of Georgia.
• Applicants are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their application for admission.
