Information And Eligibility: In an effort to help students combat the rising costs of college, GotChosen is offering the largest single private national scholarship initiative in the United States. This scholarship opportunity is not based on academic achievement, GPA, or financial need. The GotChosen $40K Scholarship Contest is free to enter, applicants must simply visit GotChosen.com to register their information and enter the contest. Once registered, applicants will have the option to send invitations to their friends and family requesting sponsorship. Any friends and/or family members who register on the GotChosen website because of the applicants referral, will generate one additional entry for the person who referred them. The GotChosen $40K Scholarship Contest is open to any legal resident of the United States or the District of Columbia over the age of 18, except residents of New York. The winner of The GotChosen $40K Scholarship Contest will be awarded a total of $40,000 in scholarship money. The $40,000 college scholarship will be issued in one $10,000 installment per year for four consecutive years. Scholarship funds must be used for qualified education expenses only.
