Information And Eligibility: The Greyhound Lines Scholarship Program is a college scholarship opportunity being offered by Greyhound Lines, Inc., the largest North American provider of intercity bus transportation. With this college scholarship opportunity, Greyhound Lines, Inc. is hoping to provide financial assistance to those students in need, in an effort to make a college education accessible to those who otherwise may not have the financial ability to afford it.
The Greyhound Lines Scholarship Program is open to all current undergraduate college students (current college freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors), with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (or higher) on a 4.0 scale. Greyhound Lines Scholarship applicants must be US citizens or legal residents, and must be attending an accredited four year college or university in the United States of America. Scholarship applicants must be full-time status students, who have applied for financial aid, and demonstrate a financial need for the scholarship. Scholarship applicants will be asked to complete the online scholarship application, as well as provide a short essay on the topic of: How alternative fuels will impact the transportation industry. Applicants will be judged based upon their essays, required scholarship criteria, and financial need. Greyhound Lines Scholarship awards provide up to $2000 for scholarship winners.
