The Harry Truman Scholarship Award offered through the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation focuses on providing full financial funding to candidates who are seeking to attend graduate school in public service areas. The Harry Truman Scholarship Award is $30,000 annually.
The requirements for the scholarship are: Must be a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree with junior-level academic standing, or have senior-level standing in the third year of college enrollment, or are a senior in college and a resident of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, or a Pacific Island. The applicant must be committed to a career in public service, must be in the upper 25th percentile of his or her class, and must be a US citizen or US national from American Samoa or the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
