The Harry Truman Scholarship Award offered through the Harry S. The requirements for the scholarship are: Must be a full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree with junior-level academic standing, or have senior-level standing in the third year of college enrollment, or are a senior in college and a resident of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, or a Pacific Island. The applicant must be committed to a career in public service, must be in the upper 25th percentile of his or her class, and must be a US citizen or US national from American Samoa or the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
