Award Amount: $2,500 (distributed twice yearly)

Information and Eligibility:

The Hurst Review and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) have partnered to offer this scholarship to recognize and reward entry-level nursing students for outstanding academic performance. This scholarship is available to students currently enrolled in a nursing program at an AACN member institution and who maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2 in their current program or from their last attended school. To check if your school is a member, refer to the AACN member directory.

Eligibility criteria include:

• Enrollment: Applicants must be currently enrolled in an AACN member institution’s nursing program.
• Academic Standing: Must maintain at least a 3.2 GPA in the current program or from the last school attended.
• Program Requirements: Must be enrolled in an entry-level nursing program.

Application Process
Applicants must submit the following materials:

• Completed Application: The application form can be found on the AACN Foundation website.
• Transcript: Submit an official or unofficial transcript showing the required GPA.

Deadline:

• 1st Funding Cycle: Application opens on July 1 and closes on September 1.
• 2nd Funding Cycle: Application opens on December 1 and closes on February 1.
