The IMA Graduate Scholarship is designed to support women who are pursuing a graduate-level degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Sponsored by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA), this scholarship aims to assist students who are interested in management accounting and who plan to pursue the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification. The scholarship not only provides financial assistance but also includes a complimentary one-year IMA student membership and coverage of CMA exam fees.

Eligibility criteria for the IMA Graduate Scholarship include:

• Enrollment Status: Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate program in accounting, finance, or a related field at an accredited institution.
• Commitment to Management Accounting: Applicants must demonstrate a clear intention to pursue a career in management accounting, including plans to take the CMA exam upon completion of their graduate degree.
• Financial Need: The scholarship is intended to assist students who demonstrate financial need and are balancing education with financial or personal responsibilities.
• Application Materials: The application requires an essay that discusses the applicant’s career goals, how the scholarship will assist in their studies, and their commitment to management accounting. Applicants should also submit their academic transcripts and a letter of recommendation from a faculty member or employer.
