The IMA Student Case Competition is an annual event designed to challenge students to analyze and solve real-world management accounting cases. Eligibility Criteria:

• Team Composition: Teams must consist of 3 to 5 students from the same college or university.
• Faculty Advisor: Each team must have a faculty advisor to guide and support them throughout the competition.
• Membership: All team members must be active IMA student members.
• Student Status: Open to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in accounting, finance, or related fields.

Competition Format:

• Teams receive a management accounting case study to analyze and prepare a comprehensive solution.
• Teams submit their solutions in written and video presentation formats.
• Regional finalists present their solutions to a panel of judges at IMA’s Annual Conference & Expo.
