The 21st Century Scholars Program is a need-based scholarship designed to help Indiana students from low-income families attend college. The program includes academic and career preparation activities throughout high school.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a resident of Indiana.
• Must enroll in the 21st Century Scholars program as a 7th or 8th grader.
• Family income must meet eligibility guidelines based on federal poverty levels.
• Graduate high school with a Core 40 Diploma and a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Enroll full-time at an eligible Indiana college or university.

Application Requirements:

• Complete the Scholar Success Program during high school, which includes 12 college readiness activities (e.g., career planning, FAFSA filing).
• Submit the FAFSA by April 15 of the senior year of high school.

Additional Details:

• Recipients must complete 30 credit hours annually to renew the scholarship.
• Non-tuition fees (e.g., housing and textbooks) are not covered.

Deadline: Scholars must enroll in the program by June 30 of their 8th-grade year.
