Information And Eligibility: Intel Science Talent Search Scholarships offer a variety of college scholarship awards to students pursuing a career in the scientific field. This program is America’s oldest and most prestigious pre-college science competition. Each year, many talented U.S. high school seniors present their original science projects for a chance to win a substantial college scholarship. Forty finalists, representing the brightest young scientific minds in America, compete for over $1.25 million in awards and scholarships.

College Scholarship Prizes:

  • Grand Prize: $100,000 four-year scholarship.
  • Second Place: $75,000 scholarship.
  • Third Place: $50,000 scholarship.
  • Fourth Place: $40,000 scholarship.
  • Fifth Place: $30,000 scholarship.
  • Sixth through Seventh Place: $25,000 scholarship each.
  • Eighth through Tenth Place: $20,000 scholarship each.
  • Remaining 30 Finalists: $7,500 scholarship each.

In addition to the scholarships, each finalist receives:

  • A new laptop powered by Intel.
  • An all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C.
  • An opportunity to meet with government officials, including the President or Vice President of the United States.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applicants must present an original science project.
  • Applicants must demonstrate exceptional scientific ability and potential.
