Information and Eligibility:

The Isabelle V. Curtiss Education Fund Scholarship is a one-time award for graduating seniors of Oxford High School or prior graduates of OHS who demonstrate academic excellence and are well-rounded individuals. Financial need is considered but not required.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Residency/School Requirement: Must be a graduating senior of Oxford High School or a prior graduate of OHS.
  • Academic Performance:
    • Graduating seniors: Must be ranked in the top 10% of their graduating class.
    • College students: Must have a current GPA of at least 3.5.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Must demonstrate involvement in extracurricular activities, community service, or employment.

Selection Criteria:

  • Academic achievements and performance.
  • Well-roundedness (as evidenced by activities, community service, or employment).
  • Demonstrated financial need (if applicable).

Application Requirements:

  • Complete and submit the Foundation’s general scholarship application.
  • Provide official academic transcripts.
  • Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), if financial need is to be considered.
  • Include at least one letter of recommendation.
  • Write a personal essay as specified in the application.
