Information And Eligibility:

The Jeannette Rankin Foundation Scholarships are designed to empower women who are 35 years or older to pursue higher education and achieve their career goals. The foundation has been helping women achieve their educational dreams since 1976, awarding more than $1.25 million in scholarships. The Jeannette Rankin Foundation Scholarships offer $2,000 per recipient, with $1,000 awarded for the Fall term and an additional $1,000 for the Spring term. These funds are typically administered through the school’s financial aid office.

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria: You must be a woman, at least 35 years of age or older, and a U.S. citizen. Additionally, you must be enrolled in or accepted to a regionally or ACICS-accredited school. Eligible students may be pursuing a technical or vocational education, an associate’s degree, or a first bachelor’s degree. The scholarship also has income requirements that applicants must meet, demonstrating financial need.
