This scholarship is designed specifically for transfer students who have completed coursework at another accredited institution and who have demonstrated academic achievement prior to enrolling at Kaplan University. Eligible applicants must have recent college experience and must be entering a bachelor’s degree program at Kaplan. Students must show a history of academic commitment and meet specific credit and GPA requirements. The scholarship supports students by helping reduce the financial burden associated with online degree completion and encourages continued academic success throughout the program.
To initially qualify for the Kaplan University Success Scholarship, applicants must have attended college within the last three years, must be applying to a bachelor’s degree program, and must have completed a minimum of 45 quarter hours or 30 semester hours at another accredited school. Applicants must also hold a minimum cumulative college GPA of 2.75 prior to transferring. To remain eligible for continued funding, students must remain enrolled in at least two courses per term and must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher. The scholarship helps students remain on track academically while reducing tuition costs for multiple terms.
