The Kentucky College Access Program (CAP) Grant is designed to help Kentucky residents pursue higher education by providing financial assistance for tuition and fees at eligible Kentucky colleges, universities, and technical institutions. The program aims to make postsecondary education more accessible and affordable for students who demonstrate financial need. Funding is limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so early application is encouraged.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a legal resident of Kentucky.
• Must demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
• Must be enrolled at least half-time in an eligible degree, certificate, or diploma program at a Kentucky postsecondary institution.
• Applicants must not have previously earned a bachelor’s degree.
• Must maintain satisfactory academic progress as defined by the institution.

Deadline: April 1 (or until funds are depleted; early application is strongly recommended).
