Information and Eligibility:
The Legacy Scholarship from the Kentuckiana Golf Course Superintendents Association supports children and grandchildren of KGCSA members who are pursuing higher education. The scholarship is administered by the KGCSA Board of Directors and judged by an independent committee of educators and administrators.
Eligibility criteria include:

• Affiliation: Applicant must be the child or grandchild of a KGCSA member who has been active and a member for at least five consecutive years.
• Academic Level: High school senior planning to enroll or undergraduate student in an accredited post-secondary institution.
• Region/Association: Applicant’s parent or grandparent must be a current KGCSA member in good standing.

Application Requirements:

• Completed scholarship application form provided by the KGCSA.
• Official or unofficial transcript showing academic performance.
• Personal statement or résumé summarizing educational goals, extracurricular involvement and how the applicant plans to advance in their field.

Selection Criteria:

• Academic achievement and potential for success in higher education.
• Affiliation and continuity of KGCSA membership of the parent or grandparent (5+ years).
• Quality of application materials and demonstration of commitment to educational goals.
