Information And Eligibility: The Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program is giving away over $440,000 in college scholarships this year to young individuals who are dedicated to making their communities a better place for all through their acts of volunteering. This college scholarship opportunity is open to all elementary, junior high, and high school students who are residents of the United States and between the ages of 6 and 18. There is no minimum GPA requirement for the Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program.
Applicants to the Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program are asked to provide documentation detailing their volunteer efforts for the previous year. This can include any volunteer projects that you have created or participated in. A panel of judges will select multiple Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program winners based upon the volunteer projects they have participated in, as well as the benefits and outcomes of the individuals volunteer work. Scholarship awards are as follows: store scholarship winners will receive a $50 Kohl’s Gift Card, regional scholarship winners will receive a $1,000 college scholarship, national scholarship winners will receive a $10,000 college scholarship and have Kohl’s donate $1,000 to a non-profit organization on the winner’s behalf.
