Overview:

The LAGRANT Foundation Graduate Scholarships aim to increase the number of ethnic minorities in the fields of advertising, marketing, and public relations. Each year, the foundation awards scholarships to deserving graduate students who demonstrate a commitment to pursuing careers in these industries.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or DACA recipient.
• Identify as African American/Black, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, or Native American/Alaska Native.
• Currently enrolled full-time at an accredited institution in the U.S. as a graduate student.
• Major in a field of study that has an emphasis on advertising, marketing, or public relations.
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.2.
• Must have at least one year to complete their master’s degree from the time the scholarship is awarded.

Application Requirements:

• Completed application form.
• Current resume.
• Unofficial transcripts from the current and previous institutions attended.
• Two letters of recommendation from a professor, internship advisor, or employer.
• A one- to two-page essay outlining career goals and demonstrating a commitment to pursuing a career in advertising, marketing, or public relations.
• Headshot photograph.

Application Timeline:

• Application Deadline: February 28.
• Award Notification: Recipients are informed in the spring.

Additional Information:

• Scholarship recipients are required to attend a virtual career and professional development workshop.
• Recipients must also participate in a virtual recognition reception.
