Eligibility criteria for the Laurels Fund Scholarship include:

• PhD Enrollment: Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD program in accounting at an accredited institution.
• Academic Excellence: A minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale is required. Applicants should be committed to the academic rigor of PhD-level research.
• Research Commitment: The applicant must have a clear research focus within the accounting discipline. Preference is given to those whose research promotes diversity, inclusion, or other critical issues in the field.
• Application Materials: The application requires a research proposal, academic transcripts, a personal statement detailing the applicant’s academic goals, and letters of recommendation from faculty members familiar with the applicant’s academic and research work.
