The Louisiana TOPS (Taylor Opportunity Program for Students) Opportunity Award is available to Louisiana residents attending public colleges and universities in Louisiana. It is awarded based on academic performance and financial need.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a Louisiana resident
  • Must enroll in a participating public Louisiana college or university
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 2.50 in core academic courses
  • Must submit a FAFSA application by the deadline
  • Must maintain a 2.00 GPA throughout college to retain the award

Application Requirements:
To apply, students must:

  • Complete the FAFSA application by the deadline
  • Submit proof of Louisiana residency
  • Complete an online application through the Louisiana Office of Student Financial Assistance (LOSFA)
