The Mamoru and Aiko Takitani Foundation Scholarship recognizes academic achievement, dedication to excellence, and commitment to helping others. The scholarship is awarded to Hawaii high school seniors planning to pursue higher education at an accredited institution.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Residency: Must be a resident of Hawaii.
• Enrollment: Must be a graduating high school senior planning to enroll full-time in an accredited college or university.
• Academic Achievement: Must have a strong GPA and demonstrate a commitment to academic success.
• Community Involvement: Must exhibit leadership and dedication to serving the community.
• School Nomination: Must be the one senior selected by their high school for this award.

Application Requirements:

• Complete the Mamoru and Aiko Takitani Foundation Scholarship application form.
• Submit official high school transcripts.
• Include a personal statement describing academic goals, career aspirations, and commitment to community service.
• Provide at least one letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or mentor.
• Submit proof of acceptance or application to an accredited college or university.
