Information And Eligibility: To help the educational advancement of students while raising awareness for mesothelioma and its cure, MesotheliomaHelp.net is offering ten college scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students attending colleges and universities located within the United States. This is an essay-based scholarship contest open to all undergraduate and graduate students who are currently enrolled in a college or university located within the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. There is no Grade Point Average requirement for this scholarship opportunity. Each applicant is asked to compose an original 750 to 1,500 word essay on one of the following topics: a mesothelioma survivor’s personal story, the history of asbestos use in American manufacturing/industry, or the latest developments in the treatment of mesothelioma. One essay per student is allowed. Essays will be judged by the partners at Belluck & Fox, LLP, and will be judged on content, grammar, style, originality, and clear, original, articulate writing that is logically organized and well-supported. Scholarship funds must be used to pay for college tuition or education-related expenses.
