Information And Eligibility: Created by Michael Jackson for UNCF students, The Michael Jackson Scholarship provides up to $5000 towards the costs of college to an incoming college student, current college student, or graduate college student. Since it’s creation The Michael Jackson Scholarship has helped over 500 college students pay for college. The Michael Jackson Scholarship is available to those majoring in one of the following disciplines: Art, Communications, English, Fine Arts, Mass Communications, Music, Performing Arts, Theater Arts/Drama, Vocal Performance, or Visual Arts. Michael Jackson Scholarship applicants must be majoring in one of the fields listed above, have a 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale, and submit a FAFSA to be eligible for the scholarship. Scholarship awards may be used towards college tuition, textbooks and other educational related fees.
