Name: Bright Flight Scholarship Program

Award Amount:

  • Up to $3,000 per academic year.

Information and Eligibility:
A merit-based program for Missouri high school students who have a composite score on the ACT or SAT in the top 3% of all Missouri students.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Residency: Must be a Missouri resident.
  • Test Scores: Achieve a qualifying ACT or SAT score.
  • Enrollment: Enroll full-time at a participating Missouri institution.

Application Requirements:

  • Take the ACT or SAT on or before the June test date immediately following high school graduation.
  • Ensure test scores are sent to the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development.

Application Timeline:

  • Test Scores: Must be received by August 31.

Additional Information:

  • The scholarship may be renewed annually for up to 10 semesters or until a bachelor’s degree is completed, whichever occurs first.
