Information and Eligibility:
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund and Mondelēz International Scholarship provides substantial financial support to students who attend publicly supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities and Predominantly Black Institutions that are members of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. This scholarship is designed to help outstanding students overcome the financial challenges associated with pursuing a college degree while also supporting their long term academic and career goals. Scholars selected for this program receive not only financial assistance but also mentorship, professional development opportunities, and career preparation resources through TMCF and Mondelēz International.

The scholarship is available to high school seniors who plan to enroll as full time incoming freshmen at one of the TMCF member schools. Open to all majors, the program seeks students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership potential, and financial need. Scholars are encouraged to participate fully in the opportunities provided by the scholarship program, which include networking events, industry exposure, and career skills development. These benefits complement the financial award and prepare students for success both during and after college.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Be a graduating high school senior
  • Be enrolled full time as an incoming freshman at a TMCF member HBCU or PBI
  • Open to all majors and fields of study
  • Minimum cumulative grade point average of three point zero or higher
  • Ability to demonstrate financial need
  • Be a United States citizen or legal permanent resident
