Name: 2+2 Honor Scholarship

Award Amount: Waives undergraduate tuition for up to two years (four continuous semesters) at a four-year Montana University System (MUS) campus.

Information and Eligibility:
The 2+2 Honor Scholarship is designed for Montana students who complete an associate degree at a two-year campus of the Montana University System or a Montana community college and wish to transfer to a four-year MUS campus. This scholarship waives tuition for up to two years, assisting students in completing their bachelor’s degree.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must apply in June of the year immediately following their graduation (e.g., a student graduating in Summer 2023, Fall 2023, or Spring 2024 must apply by June 2024).
• Must have earned an associate degree from an eligible campus with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4.
• Must have been enrolled and in attendance at an eligible campus for a minimum of two semesters prior to graduating.
• Must have been accepted by or be enrolled at an eligible four-year MUS campus.
• Must begin utilizing the scholarship the next chronological semester after receiving the award (excluding summer semester).
• Must be a Montana resident.

Application Process:

• Apply to and be accepted by one of the eligible four-year campuses.
• Complete the 2+2 Honor Scholarship application online through the Award Montana Portal.
• Submit a final transcript reflecting cumulative GPA as early as possible; a copy must be uploaded to your application.

Application Deadline: June 30 of the year immediately following associate degree completion.
