Information and Eligibility:
The NAACP x Society Awards Scholarship, part of the NAACP Inspire Initiatives, provides financial support to outstanding students pursuing undergraduate degrees. This scholarship advances equity in educational opportunities and celebrates students pursuing careers in the visual and performing arts.

All applications are carefully reviewed and scored by the selection committee. Final decisions are communicated to applicants via email, and awards are final and cannot be appealed.

Eligibility criteria include:

• Membership: Must be a current member of the NAACP.
• Enrollment: Must be enrolled full-time or accepted to an accredited U.S. college or university.
• Student Status: Must be a graduating high school senior at the time of application.
• Academic Performance: Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Field of Interest: Must demonstrate interest in a career in the visual or performing arts (examples include film, theatre, fashion, photography, graphic design, dance, music, journalism, or mass communications).
• Residency: Must be a U.S. citizen or resident.
