Name: NACA Northern Plains Regional Student Leadership Scholarship – National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) Foundation

Award Amount: $500 per recipient

Information and Eligibility:
The NACA Northern Plains Regional Student Leadership Scholarship is offered by the NACA Foundation to recognize undergraduate students in the Northern Plains region who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and made significant contributions to their campus communities.
Eligibility criteria include:

  • Academic Level: Applicant must be a full-time undergraduate student enrolled at a college or university in the Northern Plains region. (Note: High-school students are **not** eligible.)
  • Region: The Northern Plains region includes colleges and universities located in the U.S. states of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska, Montana, Wyoming, Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
  • Leadership & Service: Applicants must hold significant leadership positions on campus, have made substantial contributions to campus life or student activities, and be in good standing at their institution.

Application Requirements:

  • Completed online scholarship application form via the NACA website.
  • Official or unofficial transcript verifying current enrollment and academic standing.
  • Résumé or summary of leadership roles, campus activities involvement and service contributions.
  • Letter of recommendation from a faculty member, advisor or student-activities professional familiar with the applicant’s leadership and involvement.

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated leadership and initiative in student activities or campus programming.
  • Evidence of significant contributions to the campus community beyond routine membership.
  • Academic performance and good standing at the institution.

Additional Details:

  • The application period typically opens in the summer and is due by November 30 each year.
  • The scholarship is non-renewable and funds are awarded as a one-time grant toward educational expenses (tuition, fees, books).
