The Nanook Commitment Scholarship is a renewable financial aid award offered by the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) to help incoming students reduce the cost of attending college. The scholarship is designed to assist eligible first-year, transfer, and readmitted students by helping bridge the gap between available financial resources and the total cost of attendance at UAF.

This program uses information from both the admissions application and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine eligibility. Students who qualify for the Nanook Commitment Scholarship receive guaranteed financial assistance that helps cover tuition and other educational expenses.
